These figures show emission from the sky at different frequencies in
galactic coordinates
.Although an excess around the
galactic centreis clearly visible at all frequencies, the physical
processes responsible for the emission in the various electromagnetic bands are
very different.

A multi frequency approach is necessary if we want to understand the physics of the astronomical objects and their evolution.
