  • Fig 1: Radio emission (in orange) superposed to optical emission (in blue) of NGC 1316glossary. Although the symmetrical structure is preserved, neither the radio nucleus nor the jet are visible. The hypothesis is that the central motor of the radio source (black holeglossary) has exhausted its fuel.
